Looking for some cold ice cream on a hot day? Clementine’s Creamery is the place for you!
If you’re traveling through St. Louis, MO this summer, you have to stop by Clementine’s Creamery ! They’ve got the best selection of ice cream and vegan ice cream options. When I personally went, it was National Ice Cream day in St. Louis. So naturally, we went to Clementine’s to see what all the hype was about. Let me tell you, they make GREAT ice cream!
What makes them stand out from other micro creameries, is that they have several alcohol infused flavors. Like the Pink Champagne Sorbet or the Cadillac Margarita Sorbet. This small batch, local delight is worth every spoonful!
Best Flavors to Try!
As mentioned above, some of their alcohol infused flavors are top notch. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, then look no further than the Buttered Beer flavor. They have other Potter related selections like Chocolate Frog and Fizzie Whizzle Bees.
If you’re trying to taste the Michigan flavors, go for the Blue Moon or the Gooey Butter cake; the latter being based off of the popular St. Louis dessert.
Vegan Options
As mentions, they are known for their vegan flavored ice cream flavors. They have several rotating flavors such as Vegan Vanilla bean or Coconut Chocolate. A lot of their vegan flavors are made with coconut cream and milk.
For an ice cream shop, they have a good selection of sorbet as well.
Fun Atmosphere
We did a post on our Instagram account highlighting the exterior. When you enter the shop, it really reminds you of something out of a Harry Potter store in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade.
It has a tile floor and decorated with a lot of vintage looking lights. The outside has a small patio with small tables and wicker chairs to sit and enjoy dessert.
July 17, is National Ice Cream Day. According to Clementine’s employees, the first 50 customers of the day receive a free, limited edition T-shirt. The line to get in can get long and spans the entire block at times.
If you are not local to the area, you can order some of their pints of ice cream at Clementine’s Creamery.com.
